MENTAL HEALTH - WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH?


There is no doubt that in a fast-paced world where competition is high, taking care of your mental health is very important.


A mentally fit person has good physical health. Without good physical health, it is impossible to imagine yourself mentally fit.

According to a WHO Report: No health without mental health.


Mental health is a condition where you would be shy to tell someone. But it needs to talk to someone like your family member, doctor, mentor, or any of your friends who will understand you and take your conversation seriously to cope with your problem.


If you share your happiness, it increases. And if you share your bad memories, they will decrease.


If your health is not good enough, you can not take the best steps to grow in your life, and you will fall in life.


Regardless of how much you like the work, you cannot focus on it if your mental health had disturbed.



  • "Over two in five Australians aged 16-85 years (43.7% or 8.6 million people) had experienced a mental disorder at some time in their life.

  • One in five (21.4% or 4.2 million people) had a 12-month mental disorder.

  • Anxiety was the most common group of 12-month mental disorders (16.8% or 3.3 million people)

  • Almost two in five people (39.6%) aged 16-24years had a 12-month mental disorder.

  • Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death among 15-29-year-olds."


MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES:


In day-to-day life, we have many health problems through Mental illness or Mental health problems through physical unfitness. Let's discuss some of them below:


  • When you have a mental problem, it probably converts into serious health problems like type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases, and more dangerous health problems,

  • If your sleep cycle had disturbed for a long time, there is a high chance that your mental health is at risk,

  • If anybody fails in any of his exams and takes too much tension on this. They might get some mental health issues,

  • If someone has to face the problem of poverty, violence, sexual harassment, family problem, or political issues,

  • In case you have any family members or friends in serious condition,

  • There is a possibility that you might go into depression or anxiety if you suffer from a mental health problem,

  • When your stomach is not functioning correctly, you may not feel well. When you eat more unhealthy food, your stomach will have a problem, and when your stomach isn't working, you won't be able to convert food into energy, which will affect your mental health,

  • You can feel low when you're thinking much more in conflicting ways,

  • When you are not mentally fit, you feel sad, have low energy, and are less confident.

In Today's World, Mental Health Problems Are All Around Us. What Should We Do To Solve Them?

  • Do Meditation to take care of your mental health. It is essential to do it for at least 20 minutes thrice a week,

  • Take care of your Physical Health. Do some physical exercises,

  • Not take much stress,

  • Travel more to mountains and calm places, you feel good,

  • Make Time management and efficiently do the work and save time for sleep and must take 7-8 hours of sleep, "Go to bed smarter than when you woke up." — Charlie Munger

  • If you like to eat chocolate, it also cures some mental health problems but makes sure you only eat Dark Chocolate. It is high in cocoa which helps to control many issues like lowering blood pressure,

  • Eat Healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, and many more.

  • Play some mental games like chess, sudoku, and many other boards or reasoning games.

CONCLUSION

  • Mental health problems can happen to anyone.

  • It has interrelated with your physical health.

  • When you take more stressed, you are probably in a mental health problem.

  • Meditation will always help you to overcome your mental health problem.

  • Travel much as you can.

  • Use time wisely, and in a better way, you have more time to do something you like. It helps to overcome your mental illness in the early stage.

  • Eat dark chocolate and eat healthy food.

  • If you want to achieve well in your life, take care of your mental health. Just as you take care of your physical health, you should also take care of your mental health.
